Second Engagment Shoot

First Engagment Shoot

A couple friends of ours got engaged earlier in the year. I asked if I could do their engagment pictures free of charge as this would have been my first shoot and I wanted the practice. With my husband and good friend Mark in the wedding party they agreed to let me photograph them. They were nervous and uncomfortable at first but as the afternoon went on they relaxed and felt right at home in front of the camera. Here are a few shots from the first session we did with them. Will post some more from the second session shortly.

My Best Friend

My best friend who currently lives in England decided to come home for a 10 day visit. I was able to secure one day with her. She is so photogenic that she let me take pictures of her. She went home with 50 new headshots. Here are just a few that I took of her.

Our weekend

What a weird weekend. Saturday we had hail and it was gloomy and cold and then on Sunday it was sunny and a beautiful day to be outdoors. Saturday we decided to head to Mill Street Brewery with a couple of friends to enjoy an evening out. If you've never been I highly recommend it. Its a great atmosphere and the food is amazing. I decided to try the Brie Quesadilla as my appetizer and as my entree I had the Chicken avocodo wrap with a side order of fries.

Sunday we decided to meet up with a good friend of ours Byram Joseph....He's been busy touring and getting ready for an upcoming show in Toronto. He will be performing live with Magnus Tingsek and Ebrahim at LuLa Lounge in Toronto on May 28th. All three are incredible artists.

Why we chose Frey Fotos

Here is a little history of why we decided to name ourselves Frey Fotos........
Our good friend Sean used to call Shane Shanefrey since his dad's name is Godfrey. When Shane and I got together 8 years ago our same friend decided to rename me and started calling me Jessicafrey. He still calls us by those names and we both will forever be known as Shanefrey and Jessicafrey. I'm not a hugh fan of nicknames but this one has stuck with me since then. We are both into photography so why not Frey Fotos.... :)

First time blogger

Shane and I have created a blog together. This is our first time blogging. Not sure how to do this but please be patient and we will upload some pics soon. Its supposed to be a beautiful weekend so please enjoy the nice weather.
